The AC-7 Core is the most complete in the series, with all functions accessible on one screen. It runs on iPads running iOS4.2 or higher, connecting to the host computer via wi-fi. It connects with OS X natively using the new CoreMIDI framework of iOS4.2, and with Windows using solutions such as Tobias Erichsen’s “rtpMIDI” driver.

        record arm button

        solo button

        touch-sensitive fader with positions marked for 0bB and centre pan

    A Flip button to assign pan control to the faders


    A jog wheel which can be also be used to control pan when a track’s fader is held


    A cursor section with Zoom control


    Bank and Track left/right buttons to shift control to different parts of the project


    A bank of buttons on the right whose functions change depending on which DAW is being used
